I have a Backpack Administered account that includes data from my old ESPM account, why is that?
When creating your Backpack Administered account, we work to ensure that there is sufficient historical utility and property data to accurately describe the building. This generally means we bring in 12 months of utility data, sometimes more or less depending on the quality of that data.  Having this historical data in the Backpack Administered account is important so you can track your building's performance year over year. Once the Backpack Administered account is created, all future data is updated by Backpack.  Learn more about viewing historical Energy Star data in backpack.
