The Property Overview Dashboard & Report displays portfolio data at a property level and allows users to export the general property data.
Maintaining building information is a never-ending project. This view of your Backpack data allows you to not only view the data but also export it into a CSV or PDF for internal use and distribution.
This report puts valuable information at your fingertips including:
1. Breakdown of property by main use type.
2. A map that displays property location by region
3. Contact information for each property including from the Asset Manager to the Engineer.

To View the Report:
STEP 1:
Login to Backpack and navigate to the 'REPORT' dropdown menu on the left-hand side. Select ' PROPERTY OVERVIEW'. The report will populate all properties in your portfolio. To filter data,
To Filter the Report:
There are multiple ways to filter the report.
- Property Type - check the box(es) next to the data you would like to display
- Fund (if applicable) - check the box(es) next to the data you would like to display. If the dropdown is blank, none of the properties in the portfolio have a designated fund. Contact support@backpacknetworks.com to add funds to your portfolio.
- Market (if applicable) - check the box(es) next to the data you would like to display. If the dropdown is blank, none of the properties in the portfolio have a designated market. Contact support@backpacknetworks.com to add markets to your portfolio.
- Asset Manager (if applicable) - check the box(es) next to the data you would like to display. If the dropdown is blank, none of the properties in the portfolio have a designated market. Contact support@backpacknetworks.com to add markets to your portfolio.
- Advanced filter - - check the box(es) next to the data you would like to display. If the dropdown is blank, none of the properties in the portfolio have a designated market. Contact support@backpacknetworks.com to add markets to your portfolio.
To apply a standard or advanced filter:
Select the desired filter dropdown, and check/uncheck the boxes you wish. Utilize the CLEAR ALL button to reset the view to display all properties in the portfolio.

Note: Filter selections can be individually selected/removed, or cleared by using the 'CLEAR ALL' button.
Understanding the Sections in the Report
Property Overview & Rollup Section
This displays the property data by property type in a circle graph as well as a map that shows the location of each property. Some important informaiton:
1. Property type indicates the MAIN use type according to Energy Star guidance
2. The map is divided into four regions as determined by CoStar, those regions are >>>>>>>>>>>>> ADD >>>>>>>>>>>>>
3. The data displayed is pulled directly from each building, if data is incorrect navigate to the individual building or contact the Backpack support team for assistance.
Building Breakdown Section:
In this section you can view detailed information about each building. This is the data behind the metrics at the top of the report as well as additional information.
The building-level information within the portfolio can be displayed in two ways, either in a card or block format, or in a table format. Each card/table row represents data for a single property.

Downloading the Report
There are two options to download the report:
- Select the DOWNLOAD REPORT button in the top right hand corner of the report page to download a PDF of the report data. If the report is filtered, only the filtered data will be displayed in the report.
- Click the download ICON to the right of the CARD/TABLE options to download a CSV of the report data. If the report is filtered, only the filtered data will be displayed in the repor
